And my frustration seems to linger
Our days are only growing bleaker
Teardrops flow like the prick of a finger

We're falling as the petals of a rose
Being tossed by the wind, like a sailboat
Against the odds when we should have been afloat
Folded mindset of your surroundings
You don't recall how you found me
Even I can call out the simple things
